The Student Council of Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) at VIT Vellore empowers students, faculty, and staff by promoting a culture of creativity, entrepreneurship, and innovation. The council consists of various domains such as Innovations, Startup, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Events, Editorial, Design & Social Media, Internships, and Industry Connect. These domains collaborate to host workshops, hackathons, innovation challenges, and mentorship programs, fostering academic and entrepreneurial growth. IIC serves as a dynamic platform for turning innovative ideas into impactful ventures, bridging the gap between academia and industry.
Innovations fosters a culture of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship within the institution. It supports students, faculty, and staff by organizing events like hackathons, workshops, and innovation challenges. The Startup Domain of IIC, VIT Vellore aims to foster an entrepreneurial ecosystem on campus by guiding student innovators from idea to execution. The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) domain focuses on protecting creative ideas and innovations. We work on applying for patents, ensuring that inventors and creators receive proper recognition and legal credit for their work.
